Brendan is a documentary and branded filmmaker based in Denver, Colorado. Born and raised in Washington D.C., he considers his grandmother’s work as a potter and painter as his earliest exposure to art. From his grandfather, he learned to love baked goods and to dislike birthday parties. Taking pride in capturing intimate moments through a compelling lens, Brendan’s films celebrate and explore common ground in uncommon, unexpected places. He doesn’t take telling others’ stories lightly, and the truths that come through on-camera are a testament to the trust and comfort people feel around him. When not working, he’s slowly becoming a cat person (thanks to Ruth and Lizzo), enjoys well earned mid-day naps, and has recently started playing pickleball.
