Our relationship with our own bodies is lifelong, complicated, and deeply personal. For this doc-style campaign with Sword Health, Director Brendan Young worked closely with real members Andy and Alexandra, shaping each film around their own words and lived experiences.

For Andy’s chapter, editor Mathison Davis stitched together old family photos and candid moments from Andy’s home, layering memory and present-day reflection to paint a portrait of how our connection to our bodies is constantly evolving.
For the second chapter, the team traveled to Chicago to spend time with Alexandra and her family as she navigated her postpartum health journey. The edit flows between moments of strength and precision in the ballet studio and the warmth of family life along Lake Michigan, revealing how community, movement, and support shape the path to recovery.
"It's always a privilege being welcomed into people's homes and lives," says Brendan. "Alexandra's kids were the true stars of the show – a chilly day at the beach and long shoot days are not easy. But they brought lots of smiles to set, and particularly loved the headsets."
