Life Time came to Futuristic with a big ask: to capture the spirit of their lifestyle brand on a tight timeline ahead of their IPO launch. Drawn to Futuristic’s documentary roots and integrated production & post capabilities, they sought a blend of honest interviews and sleek visuals to showcase their “live, work, play, and stay” ecosystem.

Production & Post
Over three weeks, we sent out two nimble film crews, each including a Director, a DP, a Producer, and supporting crew members, to six cities – Denver, Minneapolis, New York, San Clemente, Miami, and Chicago. The result is proof that a small, capable team can deliver big results in a short time.
Across these locations, we filmed everything from Life Time’s state-of-the-art facilities to gourmet food from LifeCafe to in-person and online wellness classes. We sat down with over 60 people for in-depth interviews, including CEO Bahram Akradi, top executives, staff, instructors, and a wide variety of members.
Back in our Denver studio, the Futuristic Post team immediately got to work, importing footage the same day it was shot to keep things moving under a tight deadline. The campaign produced over 30 deliverables, including a 20-minute brand film for shareholders, as well as content for TV, web, social, and even the big screen on Wall Street. For any film nerds out there, we shot over 18 terabytes of footage full of heart and hustle for Life Time’s content library.
