As a filmmaker Jasper is driven to find an emotional connection within each story. He captures authenticity through creative camerawork and a flexible, easy-going, collaborative working style. Born in England, his family immigrated to the United States, eventually settling in Alaska. He credits this eclectic upbringing and influence of his father, an experimental sculptor and professor, as his original inspiration and an introduction into finding art in the everyday.
After studying film production under experimental film legend Stan Brackage at the University of Colorado, he learned his trade working as a cinematographer before transitioning into directing. Jasper’s award winning work for brands such as Marmot, Adidas, Chobani and Red Bull has taken him all over the world and in addition to traditional film projects have included experiential work such as a interactive billboard in Times Square for Forever 21, which earned a One Show Silver Pencil.
