You can see Bill’s background reflected in his ability to tell stories succinctly and in a visually captivating way. He began shooting documentaries for PBS and NBC before joining Los Angeles based production companies as a director/cameraman, shooting hundreds of national commercials. From there, he moved to San Francisco and worked for George Lucas’s Industrial Light and Magic on commercials, films and was the visual consultant/DP on ILM’s first digital feature. He has won numerous awards including Emmy’s, Clio’s and other assorted journalism and advertising honors.
Bill is an avid pilot, flying aerobatic aircraft, seaplanes, and helicopters. Additionally, he owns an airplane specifically designed for aerial photography.
